Biography:

Sam Wilson, known as Falcon, is a prominent character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. He is portrayed by actor Anthony Mackie.

Initially introduced in Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Sam is a former United States Air Force Pararescueman who specialized in using a winged jet pack. He uses this technology to assist Captain America in his battles.

Falcon becomes a key member of the Avengers, fighting alongside them in various conflicts, including the battles against Ultron and Thanos.

Following Steve Rogers' retirement in Avengers: Endgame, Sam is chosen to inherit the mantle of Captain America. This transition and his struggles with accepting the responsibility are explored in the Disney+ series The Falcon and the Winter Soldier.
